๐Ÿšจ Councillor Update: Missing Parcels & Delivery Issues ๐ŸŽ

Have Your Say: Help Us Build a Fairer Future for Adult Social Care in the East Riding! ๐Ÿ’šDear Residents,

We are sharing important advice from Humberside Police following a rise in concerns about missing parcels and thefts this Christmas.

If your parcel goes missing, please follow these steps before contacting the Police:
-Contact the Courier/Delivery Company, with tracking number and file a complaint.
-Contact the Seller/Retailer: The retailer is usually responsible for ensuring your goods arrive safely (for a replacement or refund).
-Escalate: If the response is inadequate, contact Citizens Advice or the Consumer Ombudsman.
KEEP RECORDS! Save all tracking, receipts, and emails.

⚠️ When to Report to Police
Only report directly to Humberside Police if you believe the parcel has been STOLEN (theft) or if the situation involves FRAUD. Call 101

We must all remain vigilant. Please share this post to help keep our community safe this Christmas!
